This collage was inspired by multiple cultures. It has multiple layers that have been drawn onto and etched into. There are symbols from the minion civilizations, Buddhist and Hindu sculpture, and influences by classical Greek and Japanese art.

The title is from a quotation by Winston Churchill describing Russia. It's only the title that I needed for this piece because it is indeed a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma. The various lines and layers represent life.
