Festival of light 2

A celebration of Diwali which is a festival in India is the celebration of light over darkness of knowledge over ignorance. There are many myths and legends pertaining to this festival…it is universally celebrated by all Indians all over the world. The hand is in Abhaya (protection) Mudra (gesture).The lamp in the palm and the Vajra(diamond) symbol the hand is attached to, represent that truth in its clarity is like a diamond. Etched into the metallic coated matboard in pencil are various mythic figures from different cultures.
